Use Pro-Ice to help relieve elbow pain due to overuse, bio-mechanical dysfunction, degeneration, OsteoArthritis, after elbow surgery and during rehab to facilitate quicker recovery. The unique, patented, window pane design of the Pro-Ice Cryoblanket, hugs the elbow to provide custom-type-fit for the target treatment area and maintains a consistent temperature for up to an hour. It delivers maximum therapeutic effectiveness by cooling the elbow through all four stages of icing, when most other ice wraps only reach stage one or two. To use on the elbow, simply remove the frozen cryoblanket from the freezer, or from the insulated cooler bag, and fold one of the columns of ice and slide the cryoblanket into the wrap, then unfold once inserted and secure the velcro closure. For use on either elbow, simply place the wrap on top of the elbow and wrap the two compression straps comfortably around the arm and attach with the Velcro closure. The compression strap placement can be customized to treat the front, back or either side of the elbow, so you can treat a medial, lateral, anterior and posterior aspects of the elbow. Knee ice wraps are effective at treating knee pain and knee injuries such as knee sprains, meniscus tears and ACL injuries. Knee ice is important to reduce the inflammation that occurs with injury, whether it is ligament, muscle or cartilage damage. An effective knee ice wrap will provide compression and cold therapy to stage 4 icing levels. The four stages of icing are as follows: 1. Cold Sensation 2. Burning/prickling feeling 3. Mild Aching 4. Numbness. In order to achieve therapeutic cold therapy results, the ice pack must maintain a cold enough temperature for long enough to reach the 4th stage of numbness. Most gel packs on the market are not therapeutic ice packs. They only provide topical coldness and at best reach stage 2. Pro Ice Knee Wraps pi400, stay a consistent temperature for up to an hour and allow you to reach therapeutic stage 4 levels -the most effective cold therapy treatment.
